  • Who is really invited to join?

We would love for any woman (high school age through adult) to join us for this cross generational weekend! The invitation is also extended to those connected to All Peoples Gathering Church or one of our partner congregations. You are more than welcome to invite friends, neighbors, granddaughters, etc. Basically everyone is welcome to join the fun!

  • What are the sleeping arrangements like?

We are saying at the new HOPE Conference Center at Lutherdale Bible Camp. There are 20 hotel style rooms that can accommodate from 1-6 people with queen and twin beds, private bathroom with shower & toilet, and an in-room sink. Connecting rooms are also available. Each room has its own heat/AC controls, desk, mini refrigerator, & Google Mini. Linens & towels are provided. Please contact Pr. Lindsey if you have specific needs and we will do our very best to accommodate as many as possible.

  • What is our meeting space like?

In addition to lovely sleeping rooms, the HOPE Center also has a large meeting room where most of our group gatherings will be held, a 24 hour hospitality station, and a large indoor fireplace with lots of comfortable seating for lounging, reading, or chatting with friends. There is also a spacious deck out back which is another great space to hang out.

  • What will our meals look like?

Included in the retreat cost are all meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, & dinner) and Sunday morning breakfast. These meals are prepared by Lutherdale's wonderful chef so we get to relax and enjoy being cared for. In your registration you are able to name any accommodations that you need for you meals (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc). Everyone will also be invited to bring some snacks to share with the group. This information and the retreat menu will be sent out in an email closer to the actual event.

  • Can I still participate if I can't be there the whole time?

We would love to have people join us for as many of the pieces of this event as they are able! You will see in the registration form that you will be invited to check all of the sessions that you will be at so that we have a good idea of the supply needs for all our activities. Unfortunately, regardless of the number of sessions you attend, we are not able to give any additional discount to the cost over and above those already worked into the equation. Please reach out to Pr. Lindsey if you have questions about your specific situation.

  • Is there transportation provided?

In the registration form you will be able to indicate if you are in need of transportation help. All Peoples will work to pair up those people with others who are willing to drive a carpool. Once we connect you with a driver it is up to your own group how you figure out the specifics of departure timing and location.

  • I have limited mobility. Can I still participate?

The HOPE Center is ADA accessible and especially easy to get around. Everything is on one floor and our meals are only on the other side of the small parking lot. There are also parking spaces right near the door for those that need them.

  • What precautions are being taken for Covid?

We encourage all who are participating to be fully vaccinated and to bring masks to wear as they are comfortable. At this point we will not be requiring vaccinations or masks but will be keeping a watchful eye on the case numbers as we approach the retreat. We will adjust our plans as necessary and be sure to let everyone know.
