Service Opportunies

Take good care to observe the commandment and instruction that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, and to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.’

Joshua 22:5

Service in COVID Times

During this time of social distancing and isolation it is even more important that we find ways to connect with each other and serve God by serving our neighbor. Check out some of these ideas to get your wheels turning!

  • Send cards & letters

Take some time to send messages of encouragement or beautiful pictures to your neighbor, a congregation member, or folks that are working on the front lines to keep our communities safe (medical professionals in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes, educators, emergency personnel, etc).

  • Make a phone call

Check in on friends and other church members who are especially isolated. Call the church office if you know of someone who needs some additional support or pastoral care.

  • Help with errands & deliveries

Contact the church office if you would be available to help distribute groceries to folks who are isolated or help with making deliveries with care packages. We are always looking for additional help with driving!

  • Help our garden flourish

Our garden is in full bloom and we are looking for more help than ever! Whether you have 15 minutes or 4 hours, we have the perfect job for you. Reach out to Susan, our garden lady, or Anna, our office manager, and they will get you connected!
