As disciples of Christ, we are called to follow to take up our cross and follow the way of Jesus, the way of sacrificial love. Though this isn't something we can do completely within our own power, God invites us to grow in faith through gathering together as the people of God.
When we gather to study scripture, to discuss difficult topics, to spend time in fellowship with our neighbor, or to pray for ourselves and the world, we are living out our call to discipleship.
We believe that this discipleship building work is foundational to our life as Christians and as All Peoples Church and strive to have a wide variety of opportunities for children, youth, and adults to gather and grow.
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’
John 13:34-35
Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, & those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
Matthew 16:24-25
